- This month, I continued refining the mechanics.
- Last time, I mostly worked on melee combat, so I decided to organize these polishing phases around different playstyles.
- Generally, there are distinct playstyles for warriors, mages, and thieves.
- I started this month by making some final adjustments to the warrior’s playstyle.
- To keep it short and simple: I removed the shield bash and added kicking.
- I tried to keep it balanced, and it depends heavily on your available stamina.
- Unlike other attacks, its stamina costs are set as a percentage.
- For example, you will always use a third of your stamina when you kick.
- When the kick lands, your enemy will either fall down or be pushed back depending on your stamina.
- Of course, kicks are only useful against humanoids.
